🔨✨ What a ride it’s been!

I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the team that brought the IKEA Canada booth to life at the Interior Design Show 2026 in Toronto — and wow, what an experience!

Behind every stunning display is a LOT of hard work that visitors never see. For 3 straight days, our crew of ~30 people — putting up walls, painting, hanging lights, running electrical, and assembling every single cabinet and detail of this beautiful kitchen space.

We built a full 600 sq. ft. immersive kitchen showcase from the ground up — featuring the brand new TERRSJÖ textured door style (debuting April 2026!), a walk-in pantry, a hidden prep kitchen, and a dining area. Watching it go from bare floor to a fully styled, magazine-worthy space in just 3 days was genuinely one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my career.

There’s something truly special about working alongside 30 passionate people — electricians, painters, builders — all moving at the same time toward one goal. Chaotic? A little 😄 But also incredibly fun.
